Multiverse is a barrio or themecamp, with a passion for music, arts and creating new worlds.
We are active since 2019, you can find us at two regional burns, Nowhere in Spain and have also a little presence on Where The Sheep Sleep in The Netherlands
We will be focused mainly on getting the party started and keeping it going as long as we’re allowed and we will do so in a space that is transformed every night by the beautiful visual projections all over our shade structures, topped off with intriguing art and even an enormous kaleidoscope to play with! The music we play varies from a wide variety in electronic music, to appreciation hours of all sorts (Tarentino appreciation hour was a big hit last year) to contemporary classical music in the afternoon. We love to experiment with music of all sorts!
We also want to focus on performances and some workshops during the day and have created the conditions to do so. Check out Multiverse Creations to dive a little deeper in this subject and get some insight on what we’ve been able to create in the past years.
Next to our dancefloor we’re also creating multiple chill out areas, like the Tutterdome where you will be able to play dress up with your friends. With a dressing table with a mirror to do your make-up and hair, accessories and outfits that are yours to borrow and enough space to drink your cocktail while waiting for your friend to finally decide which outfit they’ll wear.
We’ll have our breakfast, lunch and dinner in our communal chillout/dining area, sitting at a proper table you’ll want to stay and have a few beers at with your barrio buddies afterwards.
For your drinks; cocktails, beers, soda’s etc. you’ll have the bar. This will also be the place you can hand out signature cocktails from, to the nobodies that are having a dance in our area. If they complete the designated assignment or answer your riddle, obviously.
All this funky madness got you interested in joining? Hooray! It might be good to know what we’ll expect of you?
As per the decree of Nowhere, thou shalt participate!
We as a barrio will create this experience together.
Joining hands in this really makes your barrio experience complete and will strengthen the bonds you build with your fellow barrio members.
We will have a schedule of all the different tasks that need to be done per day, on which you can register as a volunteer in advance.
This can be helping out in the kitchen, or turning the party from behind the bar.
The morning after: Making sure the trash is separated as per LNT and taking it in with the cart to Warzone
(usually a very fun activity to do with some buddies, especially when you’re slightly less sober).
We want to make sure we have a designated group of people that are motivated to help with the build and strike of all of our constructions.
We will have a clear plan and instructions ready.
We are inclusive and would like anyone and everyone to feel very welcome in our group, this means all genders, all races, all ages, all levels of burn experience, all levels of openness in sexuality etc.
You are free and welcome to come as you are and expect respect from everyone of your fellow barrio members.
What we do not do however, is constantly promote or police certain behaviors, attitudes or opinions. We trust that everyone in this barrio will be able to get along, joke with each other, whilst staying kind and respectful.
